The school accepts Application Forms for Admissions up to the end of February each year. Admissions are granted subject to the availability of seats and solely at the discretion of the school authorities. Applications will be put on a waiting list if there are no vacancies. Mere submission of the application form should not be construed as granting of admission. The Principal/Director reserves the right to decide the class in which the child is to be admitted. The school management and the Principal/Director can revise the fees and other charges at the beginning of the new academic session. Fee and other charges once paid are not refunded on any account either in full or in part. For re-admission, the arrears of fee with other dues and re-admission fee of Rs.1000/- shall be paid. Students coming from other schools must provide a transfer certificate from the school last attended.

The prospective parents/guardians are advised to visit the school campus before taking any decision about applying for their wards. The step by step procedure for admitting a child into the Aryabhatta School is:-

» Submit a fully filled Admission Application Form at the campus along with the registration fee as mentioned in the Fee Structure.

» After a scrutiny of the application form, the school will fix a meeting with the child and the parents on a mutually convenient date. The child will also be required to undergo an assessment process to ascertain his/her level of proficiency and acceptability at the Aryabhatta School. This test is only for admission to Foundation Year III and upwards.

» After a successful assessment and meeting with the head of the institution, the school will grant admission within 48 working hours as soon as the fulfillment of financial and other formalities is done by parents. In case the parent does not make the payment within 48 hours, the registration fee will stand forfeited.

» At the time of reporting to the school for the first time, parents are required to contact the Admission officer cum PRO.

In case a child is to be withdrawn from the school during the academic year at least a month’s notice of withdrawals must be given in written by the parent/guardian, otherwise the parents would be required to pay the fee for the following month as well. If child is to be withdrawn in the beginning of the following year, written notice must reach the Principal/Director before the first February of the current year. Transfer Certificate can be issued only after the fee and dues have been cleared by the parents.

Parents should appreciate that excessive absence from school on the part of child has an adverse affect on the child’s progress. The school seeks the active support and cooperation of the parents in maintaining the high disciplinary standards that will ultimately benefit the child.
